Hi everyone,
Last November, my parents applied for extension of their stay in Canada for 3 weeks l after staying in Canada for 6 months.
They left the country without a decision of their applications.
Now they are coming back to Canada in a month, and I just received the updates about their extension of application, and a medical exams are required even though the days we put onto the extension application has been passed. We wanted to extend their stay till mid-Jan 2016, and we got the response on Feb 26 requesting medical exams.
I tried to send withdraw request using the case specific enquiry form, but they said the decision has been made so I couldn't withdraw my application anymore. Do they have to do the physical exams anyway even though the extension is not relevant anymore? I was thinking not to submit the medical exams, but then they will get a refusal on their application history, which might cause issues for their future applications. What should we do now?
I really appreciate your answers.
