Extend stay in Canada (spousal app in process)

Hi guys,

Need help please.
Got in canada june 1 and was given til nov30 to stay. We already received sponsor approval and our file is already transferred at my VO back in my home country and also had my medicals done last week.
Would want to do the extension asap. Since processing time for extension is at 115 days online
Btw need to cross by land to USA on dec for the holidays. What if i still don't hear anything about my extension? Can i just bring proofs of extension, receipt +spousal visa proofs when i head back to canada? (probably before new year).

You certainly can try. You should also be aware that it might be possibel you are not allowed to reenter, it is rare but it happens.
