Extend my stay in CA

Hi all,

I send my application for extending my stay in CA three weeks ago and haven't received any notice of them that they received my application...
Do they send confirmation emails at all or do I have to wait till 108 days are over before I can contact the Call center?
My stamp in my passport allows me only to stay till Sep 20... Can I stay till decision is made?
I don't want to overstay as I have an application for PR running too. My husband got already accepted as my sponsor though.

Any help is highly appreciated!

They don't send confirmations. You can remain in Canada until a decision is made on your extension application.

How did you submit this? Did you use a courier or other method with confirmation of delivery? This would rule out a lost in the mail situation.

I sent it without tracking option... I should have paid the $12 instead of $3...
