I have just filled in my Express Entry profile on 09th June, 2019. I have completed a 3-year diploma in Automobile Engg from MSBTE (Mumbai) and a Direct-second-year admit ina 4-year Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engg (University of Mumbai).
I completed my Diploma in 2010 and Degree in 2014. Since then I have been working first as a Lathe operator for 08 months and then from June 2015 till date-as a Mechanical & Quality Engineer in a manufacturing company in Mumbai.
Also, I scored IELTS General_ Listening=8.5/9 , Speaking=7.5/9 , Writing=7/9 , Reading=7/9.
My WES ECA Report states the Canadian Equivalency that i have a Diploma of 02 years and a Bachelor's degree of 04 years.
Based on my above credentials, the details entered in my profile and CRS Tool, i faced some issues :
1) Should I be stating "Two or more certificates, DIploma or Degree" in my Educational Background, since i have a Diploma as well as a Bachelor's degree ??
2) Using CRS Tool, when i used "Two or more certificates, DIploma or Degree" option, the scored jumped to 468 keeping everything else constant. However, when the same information was put up in my Express Entry profile, the score showed just 435. What could have possibly gone wrong and can it be corrected ? If yes, How ???
