express entry

Hello everyone i need advice is it compulsory to apply for express entry before i apply for provincial nominee or i can apply to any province that i want for provincial nominee that i will not need express entry. i need information and the requirement with the link for further study or reference about it . Thanks

PNP streams linked to Express Entry require you to have an EE profile and qualify for at least one of the streams (CEC, FSW, or FST).
