Could someone please assist me?

I have a marketing and advertising qualification in 2004. From 2005 - 2014 (nine years) I was a journalist (NOC 5123) with no qualification in journalism. In 2016 I got a degree in Public Relations and Communication Science and thus far I have two years of experience in marketing, advertising and public relations (NOC 0124).

Which should I use as my primary NOC. If I use NOC 5123, I will hopefully get the full 50 points for six or more years experience but I don't have a qualification in journalism and when I fill out EE profile, it asks when did you first graduate to conduct this job?

If I use NOC 0124, I only have 2 years experience in this field so I will only get 25 points, even though I have the qualifications?

This is very important as my entire immigrations case is dependent on this.

You should choose an NOC where you have maximum work ex and it will fetch u maximum points, it doesnt matter if ur education is aptly matching your job. More over u should be able to get a reference letter from your employer for the NOC and the letter should match the job responsibilities

Hi thank you very much for your prompt response. Just to confirm, you are suggesting that I add my marketing and advertising qualification on NOC 5123 and my public relations qualification to 0124. Thank you

Where ever you have more experience u can choose that as your primary NOC
