Express entry without wes

Hi ,
My friend has submitted his express entry profile while Wes evaluation is in process mentioning that not done Wes yet. His profile is showing ineligible and there is no update option available to do changes in future.

Whether he need to submit new profile after Wes or same profile can be updated. Kindly suggest.

Ok thanks. While filling new profile he should mention that he has submitted profile already or should not mention previous one
