Express Entry while active application for updated temporary visa

Hi all,
My family will most likely be getting our ITA in the next draw (468 points).

At the moment, my 2 year old son has an active application to extend his visitors visa as it expires in July. Will this active application cause any issues if we are to submit our express entry application too?
