Hi. Can someone tell me the difference between both. I know that express entry works on a CRS 1200 points system. And when i do an assessment of my profile i just get about 380 score. But under the FSW points system it qualifies and i get 69. I dont understand. Is it possible to apply just as FSW instead of express entry as i cant find a PNP program suitable for me. Please explain.

Thanks

FSW is first step and Federal skilled is next , below is the classification

the Federal Skilled Worker Program,
the Federal Skilled Trades Program, and
the Canadian Experience Class.

So Federal Skilled worker is one of the program of Express Entry ,
points for your express entry can be anything above 67
points for Federal Skilled worker is in three digits ( the cut-off points that fetched ITA in latest draw is 447)

Hi.To be a part of one of these 3 programs under express entry( the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Federal Skilled Trades Program, and
the Canadian Experience Class), the eligibility point should be 67 or above out of 100. In your case, it is 69. If I'm right, you are eligible for applying Federal Skilled Worker Program under Express Entry System. The score which you mentioned 380 is an assessment of Comprehensive Ranking System(CRS), where you will be ranked in the express entry pool of candidates. You will be in queue. As per the last draw given by CIC, the candidates with CRS scores of 447 and above should have been received ITA.
Hope, it clarifies you.
