Hi Everyone,
Did somebody encounter wherein their CRS calculator score was different when they applied directly with Express Entry?
My score in the CRS calculator is 444 but when I applied for EE it is 477. I'm quite shocked and happy about this but I don't want to raise my expectations yet since I might just be disappointed as this might be just an error in the system. Also, I don't want to get misrepresented for the input I've done in my application.
Can anyone help me answer about these discrepancies?
1.) Human Capital - Level of Education: I have ECA from WES and my Bachelors in Nursing degree (4 years) back home is counted as Bachelors Degree (3 years) in Canadian equivalency. I also have an 8-month program in International Business Management in Canada (counted as 1-year PGWP). Will my score for this count as 120 or 128?
2.) Skills Transferability - Education: I already have my IELTS (L-8, W-7, R-7, S-7), which is CLB 9. I have more than 4 years of foreign work experience under NOC B, 1221 - Administrative Officers. I read that if you have CLB 9, which is a good/strong official language proficiency, and Bachelors degree equivalency, a post-secondary degree, that gives you the maximum 50 points. So I'm not sure which is which, do I get 50 points as reflected in EE or just 25 points like in the CRS calculator.
