Hello everyone,

I have a question about the tie-breaking rule. My CRS score is 517 and I am eligible for the CEC draw. My profile was created on May 17, 2024. Today's Express Entry CEC draw had a cut-off score of 515, and the tie-breaking rule date was February 3, 2024. It's been 6 hours and I still haven't received an invitation. Total 6300 invitations were issued today.

Is this because of the tie-breaking rule? I thought the tie-breaking rule only applies when multiple profiles have the same lower cut-off score. If that's not the case, how long does it usually take to receive an ITA after the round of invitations?
What should I do next?
Any answers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

No, it's not because of the tie breaking rule. That's not how the tie breaking rule works. Please review that rule again to understand how it works.

It can take 24-48 hours to receive the invite.

You should do nothing and wait.

Thanks for answering. Yea, I have read it in detail and based on that’s it should not be problem.
Other people made me worry about it, so just wanted to confirm it here.
