I applied for PR through Express Entry online when my Marital Status was Single in Dec 2020
Since I was single when I applied, my now spouse was not mentioned in my application.
My, now spouse, also applied for express entry when her Marital Status was Single in Nov 2019 and she got her CoPR last year that is now expired.
We recently got married in August 2021. I notified and sent over the marriage certificate already through the web form.
We currently have two separate individual applications going on. I am the principal applicant in my application and my wife in her own application, where she received her CoPR that is now expired. We have submitted all the required documents individually.
I would like to understand what to do in the following scenarios:
1. Could we continue our applications independently?
2. I understand that I could add her to my application. In that case, what should she do with her online application? What will happen to her expired CoPR?
3. I understand that she could add me to her application. In that case, what should I do with my application?
4. Should one of us withdraw our application?
