Express entry simple question

Hi there,

Sounds stupid but when you complete and submit your express entry profile into the pool, is there like an average sort of time one should expect before receiving an ITA? I know its hard to say but can it be months, years, over 5 years? I'm confused. I've heard it varies based on what country your from quite abit I'm from the United Kingdom (England).

Doesn't depend on anything except your score. If you've 475, you'll likely get picked in early Feb. If you've below 430, you're unlikely to ever get picked.

You'll be invited if you meet the threshold points, regardless of where you're from and how long you're in the pool. Some has got invitations in very few days and some are in the pool for more than an year now I guess!

Hi, just further to what Asivad and Jayy have said. They don't allow you to be in the pool for more than 1 year. If you are you need to withdraw and re-create your profile after 365 days.

Totally dependant on your points. If you have a job offer supported by an LMIA then that automatically gets you 600 points so pretty much guarantees you an ITA the round after you submit your profile although you can still get enough points without it (we were lucky to get the job offer thro my husband). As previous posts have said, profile only valid for 1 year.
