hello i already applied to the express entry FSW and i got my ITA because i want to leave the country (Arab country) i live as it is getting more dangerous to me as a gay person. i have a TRV to Canada and i want to claim asylum as i arrive as i cant wait anymore and it is risky in here. my question is that if i claim asylum will my express entry application still be valid or it will be canceled ? thanks in advance

Why do you want to apply for asylum if you have an ITA and can get PR through Express Entry instead ?
because of the processing time that may take a year and i am really in bad conditions here and not safe so i cant wait if it would take a year for my PR to be issued that is why i want to calim asylum and wondering what will happen to my express entry application when i claim as a refugee
Asylum is a way more complicated process and takes exponentially longer. Your Express Entry can be done within 6 months.
