Dear All,

I have recently received ITA under FSW program of Canada. I being the primary applicant and my wife secondary. Currently, she is 8 months pregnant and unable to undergo medical tests / police verification required for processing of permanent residency. She and the expected baby should be able to undergo medical tests only after 3-4 months. In this regard, I have the following questions :-

1. What should be the best course of action for the application in this case ?
2. I have already informed CIC regarding this change of circumstances (via. their webform) and awaiting their response. Is their anything else I am required to do here ?

Any help in this regard will be much appreciated.

You should submit the application for sure... your medicals can proceed and your wife’s medical will be deferred and once she undertakes her medicals after the birth your file will be processed...
There was no need to inform IRCC till the time baby is born.
Once the baby is born get the birth certificate and the passports done and raise a CSE via the send form and upload all the additional documents

Watch for one thing from now on.... make sure the PoF amount that you confirm should be over and above the amount for 3 people.

Thanks. In terms of timeline, if there is some delay in the birth certificate (and hence in the baby passport), is there a possibility to get some sort of extension in the application submission deadline ? My apparent deadline is 3rd December 2018. I can have the following documents ready by November :-

1. PCC and medical (self)
2. PCC and medical (spouse)
3. Proof of funds
4. Marriage certificate
5. IELTS results (self)
6. ECA results (self + spouse)
