I need to go for Education assessment but I am not sure as I have done certificate in Commercial studies and diploma in business management of 1- 1 year from One of the College from London and that college is been shut down but exam body is still there (ICM) 4 years back then I returned back to India here I got admission in Lateral entry BBA (2 years ) from one of the centre of Lovely professional university through Distance education mode after completing that I got admission in Mba punjabi university Patiala. Now I m not sure whether I can asses my distance education 2 yr bba from any assessing body or not or shall I asses just my mba from any body? Some Immigration people say that you have to just get asses your highest qualification which is Mba and on other side other people say have to asses all the qualifications after post secondary.

Hi Manpreet,

The immigration consultant is correct. You have to get your highest qualification assessed - the logic being that you can only do a Masters degree (MS, MTech, MBA etc.) if you have done a Bachelors.

So go ahead, get your MBA degree assessed - once that is proven by WES they will mention it equivalent to Masters degree in Canada and you'll get maximum points.
