Express Entry Profile Mistakenly Withdrawn

Hi People,

I submitted my profile 2 weeks ago. I found out that I entered some data incorrectly. Under the Submitted Application portion, there are two tabs:
Check Status and Messages
Withdraw Profile.

I thought that the only way to edit your submit profile is to withdraw it, and once done with the editing, you resubmit it.

When I did withdraw, I received a notice that I am permanently out of the pool.

I want to resubmit it again, but there is no resubmit button/key.

Anyone who can give advice? Please. What should I do?

Thank you all.

Creating a new CIC account might help. Not sure though!

I'm not sure too but maybe try this:

click 'check status & messages' -> 'view submitted application' -> 'update form' -> [do some changes on one of the forms] -> save & exit

Then look for 'continue' button. If none, try creating new cic account.

I had same problem please create new profile that all can do
So, did you make another profile? What happened? Did you link the account? Or is it completely a new profile? Please please give details.

Thank you for your reply. I appreciate it, really.

Hi,

I did exactly what you did, though I withdrew my application because a section was not being updated properly. I ended up submitting a new profile. That means I had to start from the express entry assessment step, get a new GC key and complete the profile. It doesn't take much time though. I did it in about 2 hours while at work and submitted the new profile. I'm back in the pool as well.

You don't have to withdraw a profile to make changes to it. You can just click the "update form" button that is available against each section after you follow the path Check Messages => View Submitted Application.

Hope this helps. Thanks

Does it affect our immigration process or anything ?
