Hi Everyone,

I already acquired the required points to submit my profile by January 1st 2018. I am getting married in March 2018. When is the best time for me to apply for PR.

1. Can I say I am married when I am creating my Express Entry Profile in January 2018. Once I get the ITA there is 90 days time period to upload my documents. By that I will get married that March 15th 2018. Can I do that?
2. What is the better way, Can I create the Express entry both together or separately or should I apply first alone?

Please help...!

1. No, you can't say you are married while you are not. This is misrepresentation and you would be banned for 5 years.
2. You are single, there is no option to apply together. Apply on your own and add your spouse to your application after you get officially married.
Good Luck!

What I create my profile in the month of February and once I receive ITA i have 90 days to upload the necessary documents. By that time I will get married then can I update my profile and that as married after getting ITA.

Yes you can do that. but then your crs points will be recalculated as crs points distribution for single applicant and married person are different. If after crs recalculation your score fall below the cut off score of the draw you were selected under, then you will be ineligible for that draw. If that happens then you have to decline the ITA and wait for another one.
