Express Entry Profile Expiry

Hi Everyone,

My IRCC account info says:
  • Date you submitted your profile: May 13, 2019
  • Date your profile expires: May 13, 2020
and May 13 (tomorrow) is exactly two weeks from the last draw (Apr 30). The last cut-off was 452pts and tie-breaking rule Oct 2019. Should I wait until I get a notification that my profile expired just in case the draw happens tomorrow and the cut-off miraculously comes down to 450pts tomorrow? or do I withdraw and create a new one tonight? This may be literally the last chance for me, and I'm freaking out because I don't know what to do :( My worry is that the next draw happens tomorrow and the cut-off is at 450pts, which is where I'm at, but then If I create a new profile, I would have a timestamp starting tomorrow and I would be the last in line among applicants with 450pts.

My questions are:

1) When does the profile exactly expire?
2) Does IRCC change my profile's status as soon as it expires?
3) Which time zone is it based on?
4) Should I withdraw tonight and create a new one or should I wait until my profile's status is updated to "Expired" and then create one?
5) If I create a new profile midnight tonight without withdrawing my current one, and also before getting an official notification from IRCC telling me my profile is expired, would it be considered as having multiple profiles?

Please help me if anyone has any input for my situation.

Thank you.

Here:

1) When does the profile exactly expire?

At 12:00 am is already May 13, 2020

2) Does IRCC change my profile's status as soon as it expires?

Dont Know

3) Which time zone is it based on?

that’s pretty obvious. It’s based on Canadian time. So here it’s 9:30 pm right now.

First, If your CRS score is over the cut off you will get your ITA no matter what. Second, new profiles takes 24hrs to show in the system, you could be out of the draw because this update. Also, remember that before draws the system goes into maintainace and no access from 12 am to 6 am (I think so).

In your case, I will go ahead and create a new profile to get into the draw. CEC draws are held on Thrusday-Friday per new trend. & tomorrow will be PNP draw.
