Express Entry profile and work ex letter questions

Hello,

I am presently preparing/waiting to create an express entry profile and had 2 unrelated questions. Would appreciate if someone could answer them

Question 1: WES says my ECA will be done by 5th December. I already have my IELTS score. If WES completes their evaluation on 5th, is it possible to complete my profile and add it in the pool before the (possible) draw on 6th?

Question 2: I am presently working in USA and have 2.5 years work experience here. I have worked previously in India for 2 years too on a different NOC. But it would be next to impossible for me to get any work experience letter from my Indian employer. I am only claiming points for my experience in the US and can easily get the letter from my current employer. Do I still need to provide any proof of work ex in India even if I am not claiming points? My CRS points with only US experience is 456. Adding my Indian experience will bump it to 481.

Thanks Bobbieleigh. I understand I do need the ECA number to create an EE profile. My question was that if WES completes my ECA as promised on 12/5 is it possible to create an EE profile the same day to be eligible for the 12/6 draw? When I fill my profile, does it get added to the pool immediately?

You can created the profile on the day WES completes your ECA as long as you will have the reference number available to use in the profile. I don't remember if they send an email straight away or you have to wait for it a couple of days or so. This is what I meant.
And yes, you are in the pool straight after your profile is complete and submitted.
