EXPRESS ENTRY PR and PNP

hi guys, just new in the forum. I got my situation right now. I applied for Express entry for PR and submitted april 2016 and now its goes to the point that im really worried because my work permit will expire this coming October. I had a very bad experience before on the immigration itself that why im looking for options that will keep my status here in Canada. Some of my friends i will get my PR before October but im scared and i dont want to risk it. I did some research but it seems i cant find any solution but to apply for bridging the work permit. Guys can i do Provincial Nominee even if i applied already for PR? just want to make sure because i cant find anything regarding about this. Thank you and hope i posted this on the right section. Bridging work permit is good enough to maintain your status in Canada, no need to apply PNP, PNP is another long process and will not help on your case(longer than your Express Entry processing time), PNP is unnecessary for you.
