express entry -post grad permit expiring today urgent

I have created my express entry profile and have met requirements for cec with 463 points. My problem is my work permit expires today, is there anyway that I can keep working by applying for an extension of my work permit or do I have change my status to visitor until I receive an invitation to apply in the next draw. Can anyone advise on this situation as it is urgent my Postgrad permit expires today.

The only way for you to extend your work permit is to apply to BOWP, but you can apply for it only after you will get invitation and submit all the paperwork. For now the only way it to switch to visitor visa and wait for invitation.
