Hi All,

Your inputs would be much appreciated for the below query:

I am Indian citizen who is currently in US and have stayed in India mostly and other than US has stayed in Nethrlands.

I am told I need to get Police verification certificate from all of the above 3 countries, Also after ITA arrives the police verification certificate should not be 90 days old . I might be wrong but I am confused on the timing :

1) I am wondering when would be a right time to initiate a police verification specially so that its not too late and not too early . Why does Canda Gov have such a short time line as getting a Police certificate from a foreign country where candidate no more stays itself will take 2 -3 months.
2) Also has any Indian citizen in this form has procured police verfication from NL and if yes how much time do they take.

Your responses will be highly appreciated
Thank You
Shilps

If you're super confident about your CRS and think you'll get an ITA soon you can get started on the PCC process. This way the chance of getting a PCC Will coincide with your ITA submission deadline.

Cic is known to give extension where the documentation by no fault of the candidate can be delayed. once you have an ITA , get in writing the timeline for the pcc from nl, and if u think u won't make it before your submission deadline, raise a cse and inform cic for an extension.

This is helpful to know that there is provision to let them know about it
Even though I was super confident one can never predict that when ITA will be issued so if I start the PCC process and by the time ITA arrives the other fix is the certificates shouldn't be more than 90 days old. Isn't it. I mean we can never predict when to start the process and also it should not be 90 days old when submitting documents towards ITA. I am thinking a very tight situation. :)
