I'm getting married soon and would like to bring my spouse to canada but i saw that the processing time is 14months for the rest of canada and 24 months for quebec. ( i live n gatineau quebec, just accros the river from ottawa, ontario).
My plan was to apply for spouse sponsorhip and then trv a vistor visa. She can then a apply for open work permit while waiting for her PR.
Now i see that the processing time for express entry is only 7 months. My future spouse is bilingual with a master degree, so she could get a good score in the pool for express entry.
If she mentions that i live in quebec, would that compromise her application in express entry?
Should i apply for spouse sponsorship or express entry? What is my best option in this situation?
