Hello Guys,

I am July 2014 applicant,

I have received AOR but didn't received MR yet, I don't know what to do, I never ordered a GSM notes, but as per CEC's page stating that,

This information is updated quarterly and shows the time it takes to process an application after we receive a complete application package. The processing times for the Canadian Experience Class and Live-in Caregiver Class are based on how long it took to process 80 percent of all cases between January 1, 2014 to December 31, 2014. Processing times are subject to change.

now following are my questions

1) When CIC said that they will process application within a year, why we are still not receiving any MR?
2) is CIC want's to get rid of Old CEC applicants, because they are more focusing on EE? to get more talent ?
3) CIC Call center agent doesn't have much information in there hand, so what should I do?
4) what are the benifits of having lawyer and applying yourself? can lawyer speed up the process , or there are minimal chances of errors when you appoint lawyer? or if your CEC application goes into 2nd review, our Lawyer helps us getting out of that dilemma.
5) if application goes into 2nd review, can we contact Local MP to expedite the matter?
6) the processing time 12 months is from application package receive or the time from AOR?

Sorry guys lot of questions but, I don't know, little frustrated :'(

1) When CIC said that they will process application within a year, why we are still not receiving any MR?
Some people simply take longer to receive the medical request. No-one here could possibly give a direct reason why you have not. It's worth keeping an eye on a CEC tracker, like this one:
http://www.trackitt.com/canada-immigration-trackers/canadian-experience-class

You can see that a number of July applicants have received their medical request already.

2) is CIC want's to get rid of Old CEC applicants, because they are more focusing on EE? to get more talent ?
Express Entry includes Canadian Experience Class, so I'm not really sure what you're asking.

3) CIC Call center agent doesn't have much information in there hand, so what should I do?
No they don't; not really sure what the question is.

4) what are the benifits of having lawyer and applying yourself? can lawyer speed up the process , or there are minimal chances of errors when you appoint lawyer? or if your CEC application goes into 2nd review, our Lawyer helps us getting out of that dilemma.
Lawyers cannot speed up the process. There are plenty of reports on this forum documenting immigration lawyer failures. Obviously far from all bad, but this forum is a decent enough resource for most immigration questions.

5) if application goes into 2nd review, can we contact Local MP to expedite the matter?
You could speak to your local MP, but there is a limit to what they can do. Particularly if your application is still within the 12 month processing time.

6) the processing time 12 months is from application package receive or the time from AOR?
From the AOR received date.

Sorry guys lot of questions but, I don't know, little frustrated :'(

A couple of suggestions for you:
(i) Apply for your GCMS notes:
Use them verify whether a particular element of your application is slowing things down. Here is a link with some useful information:
http://cectoolkit.weebly.com/faqs/what-does-gcms-stand-for-how-do-i-apply

(ii) Try to speed up the process:
You can submit your medical and pay your RPRF's upfront if you wish. This may speed up your application, but that obviously cannot be guaranteed. A couple of links of doing those:

I've read lot of news that VO are more focus on EE rather that Old CEC, so what Old CEC people will do, I have seen so many frustrated people here like me still waiting for MR and other things, why CEC can't be apparent while dealing with life of millions ?

Things are running slowly now as they always have. The gap between getting an AOR and receiving a medical request is traditionally the longest part of the process.

When I applied (Q1 2014) the average processing time was 13 months, so that has apparently decreased. People have always been frustrated by the pathetically slow processing times, which is of course one of the reasons for the new system (trying to ensure an app takes 6 months at most).

Considering you can order GCMS notes, I'd say the CIC aren't with holding any information from you.

I understand the frustration but unfortunately it's simply a slow process. Do the things I mentioned in my previous post if you want to find a reason why your application is being processed slowly and to potentially speed up the process.

mine is 10 months no MR yet. per cic response to my query its in queue pending second review by an officer. when anyone in queue then waiting is but obvious. so enjoying my waiting.
