Express Entry - Need Guidance if consultants is a suggested route

Hi,

I am from India. I am planning to apply for Canada Express Entry along with my friend, however we are uncertain if we need to use consultants to do end-to-end process.

If Yes, can someone guide me the one from India and possibly from Mumbai City.

How easy or difficult it is to get job?

There is no need for consultant for filing the Express Entry. It is very easy tool and very much self explanatory. All you need is some assistance in case you get blocked which this forum can provide.
However, getting job is not so easy. But isn't impossible.

I was going thru some other threads of similar conversation and really got the idea clear that i can get a good help going thru the discussions and no need to waste money on consultants.

I will apply on my own along with my friend.

Can i ask you one more question on the timelines.

I am going to appear for IELTS on 30th April. Considering this timelines, what do you suggest me to start now. If i understand the process correctly, I can start the ECA process now right? and Can i expect the ECA to get completed by April end?

Lastly, once both these steps are done, how much time is taken by Canada Govt to get back to the candidate?

yes u can start your ECA process alongside with ielts..
infact.. IELTS and ECA are required for the express entry registration..

cant b sure whether u ll get done with ECA as those guys r over loaded wit work.. but high probability that it ll be done. sent ur papers thru courier if u r in a hurry..

after u r done with registering for Express entry.. it all depends wat points you score.. if high than chances that u ll get selected..
in case u r selected, it ll take about 6 months as per canadian govt..

if selected u ll need things like 6 month bank statement, police clearance letter, employment certificates etc etc..
