It is the same thing with that published on the Canada Gazette. But why do they put "Fall 2017" there? Is it already 2017 now? Is the editor too drunk or am I? Confused .

Either they're drunk or counting it as 2017 immigration year :S

Least we know now that there are no other changes happening for a while at least.

Meaning there will be no more changes until Fall 2017 or in other words these changes are applicable till Fall 2017. It's similar to announcement of Quota where you say Quota for 2017 even though it's declared in 2016.

Hope it makes sense.

I guess that's good news for people waiting for more changes for french and siblings points. :)
*Face palm* it's really not looking likely for this year, otherwise it would be in this announcement.

I doubt it, french speaking applicants are now rewarded 50 bonus points through the Mobilité Francophone. For the siblings points, I guess IRCC realizes it doesn't make sense much, so they scrap it totally.

If I am currently under the Young Professional work permit (IEC), and the employer is written on my current work permit NOC B, am I eligible to get those 50 points?

Those are two different work permits. One is International Experience Canada (open work permit) and Young Professional (employer specific).
The people who get 50 points are those candidates who are here under the North America Free Trade Agreement, a federal-provincial agreement, Mobilité Francophone, or who are intra-company transferees who have worked for the same company for 1 year.

I am in the process of applying for LMIA. I am under PGWP and my employer is helping me for PR and i was about to apply for this LMIA next week. But now after seeing this reduction in points from 600 to 50 i do not know what should i really do.

My Post graduate work permit expires on July 29 th 2017.

I got something on my mind. I don know how good that works. I am married and i want my spouse to come here asap. Can i apply for LMIA that expires after 2 years? If i get work permit through LMIA for 2 years can i apply for SOWP - Spouse open work permit for my husband to come here?

My NOC Code is 2283 B.

Is this a good idea or is there any work around??

Please help me. AM totally pissed with these changes made by the government. :( :( :( :(

I meant I have now Young Professional and I have already a year plus experience with them. Does it work?
