hello everyone,
I’m in a bit of trouble so any help is appreciated, I applied for pr through express entry scheme and hired an attorney to help me through the process, my question is I had a couple years experience in another country and I got an LMIA here based on my education, both are managerial positions in different categories but both are relative to my education. Today was the last day to give in all my documents as I got an ita 2 months back and my agent tells me that “after reviewing the file I think that there is a big chance in rejection because your previous experience was in a different field and you have an LMIA for something else “ I applied for it anyways because I don’t trust him as he knew about the different fields since the very first day (it’s been 6 months)

Is it a big deal to have experience in a different category but getting a LMIA based on your education in something else? Does it lead to rejection or increase the chances of it?
Sorry for the long post and thank you for your time, any input is appreciated.

I think you did the best thing by applying. I don't think your job has to be in relation to your previous experience as I understand. You just need to prove that you qualify for the job according to the NOC code classification your LMIA based offer was given. All the best.
