Hi Guys,

So im in a situation where I was going to go for Federal skilled worked with my 1 years work experience back home as a web developer. Unfortunetly I only get 66/100 points. When you need 67 to apply, is there anyway I can apply with 66 points. It very frustrating that I have speant 2.5 years in Canada and this counts for nothing. Its also annoying because I would have 413 points if i went into the pool. I have the highest English results and a uni degree so there is no physical way I can get another point.....

I also have done some skilled work and at the moment I am in a skilled job. By the time my visa expires It will be at around 10 months skilled work and I was told I could go on implied statues while applying for another work permit to extend my work time. Then reapply under Canadian experience class when i have a years worth of skilled work to get my pr... So basically is it worth waiting. If i applied and got rejected with the first scenario can i reapply later in the year with the 2nd scenario...

With 66 out of 100, there is no way to get into the EE pool. If you fill your profile, the tool will make it ineligible immediately after submission. So no question of applying and getting rejected. You would need to wait to get the requisite work experience before being eligible.
