I needed some help related to work experience for Express Entry. I am FSW-O based out of US.
My AoR is May 30, 2018 and my application was in pause because of pregnancy deferral. We got XRay done on Aug 10 and MEP Aug 14. However when I called two weeks back, my eligibility was still in progress.
I need just 1 years of work experience for 67+ points on FSW and 3 years of work experience to max out points for Express Entry.
I have continuous 14 years of work experience across 5 companies: 5 years in 2173 and around 9 years in 0213. I have great work experience letters from renowned companies till Jan 2017 for salaried roles.
Since Feb 2017, I have been I have been working with a startup as CTO as a self-employed contractor at a very high renumeration. Because this startup is in early stages there is almost no online details about this company. I submitted by work experience letter and 1099 for year 2017 for this work experience.
So my questions are:
1. Is it a mistake to include too many entries in work experience. Can it delay the processing? Or do they stop looking at further work experience as soon as you meet the points required.
2. For CEC there is a work experience requirement of 1 year in last 3 years. Is there a similar requirement for FSW and Express Entry?
3. Could the eligibility be in review, because of my current job experience's being non traditional: Self employed for a company which doesn't have much online presence. Even though I meet the conditions (even 1 year in last 3 years) - if the current work experience is completely disregarded.
