Hi Guys,

I am filling my express entry profile in FSW and I would like to know if my spouse uncle who is Canadian citizen will be considered as my relative as well?

I see in the options in personal detail section of express entry profile where they have asked to fill this detail about relative in Canada.

However if we use CRS calculator, it ask for 1 option only that if you or your spouse are having any relative in canada who is a PR/Citizen.

Can someone share this information? I am thinking if I just fill relative in canada=yes in my spouse personal detail section only or I should fill relative in canada=yes in both of our personal details.

Also, does anyone knows if I get 15 points for both of us or its just 15 points total for the relative in Canada.

Thanks,
Singh

You can get 5 points under FSW for uncle (if a child of grandparent), however under CRS you can not get 15 points for an uncle. Only siblings are allowed.
