Express Entry for UK hopeful

Hello,

I am 29 years old. I have a Phd in a science field, and I have over 1 years work experience as a data scientist at a tech company which I currently work at. I am hoping to move to Canada in the near future. I have applied under the IEC program. However, I also would like to apply for Express Entry or as a skilled worker. While I'm only now learning French, I speak perfect english and will do the test soon.

I am wondering, what do you suggest the best program I apply under would be? Is there anything I should keep in mind that would benefit me?
