ITA- Dec 18th 2015
Application submitted on- Jan 19th 2016
Request for documents -Jan 20th 2016 (provided)
Status - open , eligibility review in process, medical passed, Background check not needed this time .

I have applied for PR on 09/01/2016 . I also applied for my work permit extension on march 2016, through paper application to bridge the gap between PR process and my current work permit expiry date(9th July 2016). considering my situation, please provide me some feedbacks or suggestions whether I can get any of two prior to the expiry of my current work permit or what should I try else ? ???

As for your application, there is really nothing you can do personally to speed it up. From what we have seen about 80% of cases are processed within 6 months so that gives you pretty good odds that you will get PPR before your work permit expires.

I think applying for BOWP would have been easier than the extension but since you have already applied for that as well, I think you will just have to wait for that. Maybe somebody who applied for BOWP can tell you if that would have been the better choice.

Maybe somebody else has another idea but I think with PR in progress and extension already requested, you will just need some patience.
