hey guys, i have some questions please for my application on express entry,

i have created my profile on express entry and i'm only eligible for the canadian experience class,
i want to be eligible also for the federal skilled trades and i need a job offer,

my questions are : can i get a job offer from my current employer even if i'm working with him and my work pemit still valid till Nov 2021 ?

if i get another job offer from a new employer then add it on my profile it will be approved as a valid job offer ?

my work permit is LMIA exempt and i have read that if i get a job offer from another employer who's not named on my current work permit he will need to apply for LMIA is that true ?

thank you guys .

It sounds like you hold a closed work permit / employee specific work permit.

To get job offer points under your current employer, you must work for that specific employer in Canada for at least one full year. Your employer must then give you a letter stating that they are willing to offer you a permanent job for at least one year after you become a PR.

To get job offer points with another employer, that other employer will need to obtain an approved LMIA for you to get the 50 points. A simple job offer with the new employer will not give you the 50 points.

thanks for your reply !

yes i hold a closed work permit LMIA exempt (mobilité francophone) and i've completed 1 year of work experience on january with the same employer
but if my current work permit still valid one year or more after i become a PR i will be still needing this letter of a permanent job for at least one year with this employer as a proof ? or my work permit is enough ? because i still have like 18 month left in my contract with the company.

and what's the difference between a full time job that i have now and a permanent job ? i mean if i get a full time job offer from my current empolyer for at least one year after i become a PR is that not the same like a permanent job ?

thanks.

Yes, you need the letter which specifies that you will have a job with that employer for at least a year after PR. Yes, this is required even if your contract is still valid for another 18 months.

See:

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/documents/offer-employment.html

Full time and permanent are different terms. Full time refers to how many hours you work. Permanent refers to your status as an employee. Hope this answers the question.

Thanks for your quick reply.

so now to be eligible for the federal skilled trade i need only to answer yes in the section " do you have a job offer in Canada ? " because i meet all the other requirements for this program
