I hope you guys are healthy and safe. I just have a quick question to ask about the EE employment reference letter. I'm currently working at a retail company and very happy to still be able to keep the job during the pandemic.
- Does my manager need to carry a citizenship or permanent residency to be eligible for signing my employment reference letter? In this case, my manager is on a working permit, however he has been in the process of PNP program, but still waited until CIC re-opens the Retail NOCs.
- If not, will CIC representative call my manager to verify both my employment record and his status?
