But ultimately they will score you out of 1200.they will count your regular score plus your job offer score. It's clear in the instructions on cic website that they will score you from 1200.bnkamal said:I think u misunderstood this scoring.. 886 is including the Job offer or invitation from province which itself is around 600 points. So effectively u need to achieve 886 - 600 = 286 points.. This is completely related to your Age, education, experience, IELTS scores, spouse education, Spouse IELTS etc., This is more than sufficient to cross 300++
Effectively anyone without job offer is not eligible.canadamylove said:But ultimately they will score you out of 1200.they will count your regular score plus your job offer score. It's clear in the instructions on cic website that they will score you from 1200.
So the person is right.... Every one is doomed now!
No, Australia does have a pool but we don't need a job offer to get an invitation. 60 is the minimum required points and nobody ever with 60 points has been rejected. I got an invite and now visa application is lodged and should be in my hands within 5 months. EE was the reason I applied for Australia. It's clear that they want only people with job offers in the new program.dmac11 said:I believe this has been a similar on-going program which is currently used by Australia & New Zealand. Im just wondering how some are still able to immigrate on those 2 countries. Is it really that they are very suitable & one of a kind or just extremely lucky..
Well, Canada has adopted this program.. As the above member here suggested, it may be a polite way of them turning shut a bit of the immigration faucet which has been fully opened for quite sometime now..

Don't know about international students. They themselves would have to apply for lmia positions then. PGWPs do not have to be lmia approved but on the other hand since they're already in Canada, it would be much easier to get hired.pikuworld said:Effectively anyone without job offer is not eligible.
In other words, EE is for 'International students in Canada' and people already in Canada on 'Work Permits'.
