Express Entry CL Spouse Canadian

Hi all

I’m helping my cl partner completed her express entry application. She received her invitation to apply. Yay!! I am a Canadian citizen living in Canada. Born and always lived in Canada. She is here on work permit and we are now common law. The application asks if her cl partner will be accompanying her. We were thinking no because I’m already here... we answered no and now the form asks all kinds of questions about me and my past. I’m fine completing this but is this correct? I don’t want to answer a bunch of questions if it’s not needed.

I’ve read a lot of past posts and seems like people are just leaving the spouse question blank for the most part and just uploading a letter explaining cl spouse is Canadian Citizen And has always lived in Canada along with copy of Passport.
Is this true/correct to do?
