I am a citizen of India. I will have one year full time work experience in Canada pretty soon and planning to apply for PR from outside Canada as I need to go back to US. I do have the required points for applying for PR but what is not clear to me after receiving the PR approval how to send passport from US to Canada. Receiving PR letter would not be an issue as I will likely have an address in Canada but as far as I know I can not legally send passport from one country to another? Kindly advise. If there is anything else I need to worry, please let me know. Anything will be of great help!

Just for full information, we already have ECA reports, police certificates, English exam scores but have to get the medical reports before applying.

You can. You passport would need to go to Ottawa
Thanks for your response. I am sure you are right in general but it probably depends on country of citizenship https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/can-i-courier-passport-internationally-by-fedex-dhl.131814/. Does IRCC allow to send the passport for stamping to Canadian consulate in US on request? I am guessing that may be a common scenario for many people applying from outside Canada.
