Hello,

Me and my spouse applied for the PR with myself as a primary applicant.

I landed in Canada but due to spouse getting a very good opportunity in a different country she did not join me and we let her COPR expire.

What issues might this cause while I become eligible for the Canadian citizenship?

Well she isn’t PR if she didn’t land. So you will have to sponsor her for PR if she plans to ever live and work in Canada. No issues for you.
