Explanation of Points system

Hi,

I'm looking for some clarification on how the express entry points system works.

I input this into the CRS points Calculator from the CIC website:

Age: 33
Single
Studied 2 year diploma in Canada
no skilled Canadian work experience
3 years foreign skilled work experience
MAX ILETS scores
no job offer
no nomination
no LMIA
no family in Canada

I still only end up with 434 points

What I want to know is how is it possible for anyone coming to Canada to get express entry without Canadian Work Experience or even Canadian Education, as the max points you get for foreign work is still not enough, Even if I had 2 years Canadian Work Experience and No foreign work experience I still just fall short, Am I missing something?

I see all the time that people go through express entry that are single, have never lived, worked nor studied in Canada yet somehow have enough points?

Is the basic CRS calculator not accurate or am I just totally wrong? Do I need to create A profile for the pool then I get a more accurate breakdown of how the points will be given out?

Any help would be much appreciated thanks.
