explanation of large transaction/ POF

hi guys...
i was called for interview before 5 months...i could not attend the interview and asked the vo to manage another date...instead of giving me another interview date vo asked me additional docs and in the list of additional docs they said i need to submit proof of fund with explanation of large transaction and supporting docs for that..
i submitted balance certificate of required amount with explanation...
so my worry here is..do i need to submit bank statement?
do you guys have any idea or similar experience...if yes pls share..

VO was looking for source of that large deposit in your account. Bank statement you have already submitted, the question of VO was about a large transaction in your bank statement. From where the money came in your account? You dont have to submit new bank statement as it was not asked.
Asking the source of large deposit is normal.

Man, are u playing game with VO at this stage?

They have asked u simple question for large deposit of funds. Remember its large deposit, not ur regular income. How u can relate this both?

The VO seems to be explicitly clear about what they are asking you, they asked you for an "explanation of lrage transaction and supporting docs for that"

Your "wife's payslips" and "appointment letter which mentions my salary" would not explain the "lrage transaction".

I take it that the VO specifically indicated what "lrage transaction" they are referring to........you need to explain that specific large transaction (not your wife's regular salary and not your regular salary).

To give an example- If on 4/11/12 there was a deposit of about $15000- and they are asking for the source of that deposit-

You have to explain who sent you that $15000 (Ideally it would be perfect if it had come from your other bank account or perhaps spouse account)- if it was sent by a 3rd party- you need to explain in a letter and prove that it is your money and not a loan to meet your POF requirement (which is what they are trained to assume). The burden to prove that the fund is your own is on you- do not assume they will give you the benefit of doubt- you have to prove that the large transaction is your own money. Hope this helps!

Any Idea transaction above what amount are considered "Large transactions" by CHC?

do you have transaction in your bank statement above INR 50000 or INR 100000??
