Expiry date of work permit date must be before the date you became a permanent resident.

Hello,

I just started to fill in online citizenship application. I had a work permit extended from 30th October 2018 to 29th October 2020. But I received my PR in 31 July 2020. As you can see I got my PR before my work permit expiry. The online application shows me error when I enter these dates. How can I fix this ? Please see screenshot.

Your status on work permit ended the day before you became a Permanent Resident even if it was valid until 29 October 2020. So, the end date of your work permit should be 30 July 2020. Your status changed to PR on 31 July 2020
