expiring work permit

good day.

my husband is working in edmonton alberta and he was nominated under AINP which unfortunately he was denied because he was under NOC C...his employer didnt know this so he was planning to extend my husband so he can stay there for another more year.I would like to ask if he can get an extention even though hs occupation is classified as NOC C?and I would like to ask if from low skilled worker he can jump to semi skilled worker?how?anybody knows how?thank you so much.

what is the job title/ position. He can always request the employer to give him a new job offer letter just for application purpose which has a job title under classification of O,A,B.

his job title is production worker from a manufacturing industry, denied from ainp because we are classified as NOC C....i wonder how can we go from NOC C to NOC B?what steps should we do?we really need your opinion because work permit will expire october 2010...we want to make our next move to be ok. thank you so much for your time.

You would have to do some research - find a position that can match the profile that is under O,A,B in the NOC classification. Once you have that ask the employer to give an offer letter with his new position. It could be production clerk, machine operator etc..find the detailed work he does and try and find a job category.

Except the OPs spouse would have to obtain an new LMO and a new work permit to reflect the "new position" It is quite probable that HRSDC will not approve it.
