Expired worker permit; but valid visitor visa until 2025; spouse sponsorship application being processed

Hello,

I have the expired work permit on Jun 19, 2024. And I have about 50 days left to either restoring my WP or a visitor status ( which is recommended by the agency).

I'm not sure what it means by restoring a visitor status. Can you guys please advise it to me? Also, what is the best resolution for me? Thank you.

Note: It takes a while to receive AOR of Permanent Residence to apply for Open Work Permit, so i need to do something to make my status valid.

You can’t restore your WP you can only restore your status to be a visitor.
