Hi!

I have an expired visa since March 7, but I have extended my stay as a worker but refused on May 9. Also my passport was expired since June 13. I have tried to submit my application for TRV in Apex Immigration but they said they can't submit it to CIC because of my passport. Is my case will make me ineligible for restoration?

You can't apply for anything without a valid passport - including restoration. The first thing you need to do is renew your passport. You have 90 days from May 9th to renew your passport and submit the restoration application. After that time passes, you'll be out of options for restoring your status from within Canada and will have to leave.

Thank you for your reply.
I am holding a Philippine passport and I havent renewed it yet. For the reason that it takes long like two month and it will reach my
90 days restoration period. I am planning to have a travel document so that I can go back home. However, I am afraid that CBSA will find
out that I havent passed any application to renew my passport yet. It means I am staying illegally right?

You are currently in Canada without status. This is because your visa has expired and your work permit was refused.

As long as you leave Canada relatively soon, you shouldn't have a problem.

Yes, I think that's more legal if I just leave. One more thing. What if passport's tentative date of arrival passed my 90-day restoration period.
I am I still allowed to stay?

I'm not sure I understand your question.

You only have 90 days to apply for restoration. After the 90 days have passed, it will be too late to restore your status and your only option will be to leave Canada. Until you either leave or successfully restore your status - you're in Canada without status (illegally).
