Expired Work permit lost

Dear People,
My PGWP document has been lost and also expired last month, I have no choice but move out of Canada. Is there someway I can arrange a replacement because I have a friend who can mail it to my home country.

According to Canada immigration website it needs to be a current and valid temporary resident document for it to be replaced,

Am I completely out of any options?

Any advice is kindly appreciated.

You won’t be reissued an expired permit.

Please excuse my ignorance and thanks for the reply,
I am not sure if I might need to show my PGWP during my future applications like Express entry or PR, while I apply for them through my home country. Since I wont be able to come back to Canada ever.
