I have a friend who’s SDS student status has expired in August 2020. He discontinued his studies as well.
He is having no status as of now, what are his options?
Can he be benefited from the new public policy which is till August 2021?
Please suggest!!

He can apply to restore his status under the public policy. This doesn't guarantee approval - however he certainly qualifies to apply and he should apply as soon as he can.
