Hello i have read these posts and they are great however i too have a question and hope you do not mind me positing here. If i have a Canadian job ( i have an expired PR card and not sure if my SIN is dormant.) I am being offered a job from a Montreal company but i am going to be working overseas.

Would this count as work experience in Canada? (i have a new express entry profile with my family)

I have not denounce my PR status (as yet)

If i get an ITA i will then denounce my old PR as i am not sure i can apply if i am still a PR with no RO. Due to my age etc our CRS points is quote low 370 so wonder if i had 1 year working experience if it counts and then i am up to 420 (which is still low but can look into the PNPs) as well.

Thanks

Hi,
only a job fiscally done in Canada (at least 1 year) can be counted as a Canadian work experience for PR application. Otherwise the job will be counted as a foreign experience only.
