Hi i am Canadian Immigrant. My previous home country passport has been expired 6 months before. I did not renew my passport because i had no plan to visit anywhere with my previous passport . I am now illegible to apply for Citizenship . Can i apply Citizenship with my expired passport .

Personally, I always ensure my travel docs are valid and ready (in case of emergency travel back home). Always have valid passport wth you its a good thing

"I had no plans to travel" is more than enough.
Don't worry, that's a common situation. Not a problem.
