Expired Passport for Protected Person work permit

Hi all,

I am applying for a work permit but my passport has expired, so the online form cannot be validated. I have protected person status in Canada.

question is

I am thinking of putting the expiry date on there and not validate the form just complete and sign it and submit it not validated. Is there any other suggestions on how to go about this?

I'm not sure how to go about it specifically but please call a settlement agency. They can help you with it and advise.

Absolutely do not renew your passport from the country you sought refuge from. Do not do this under any circumstances as it can put your status in Canada at risk.
